The Hebrew Messiah Yahshua is a Nazarite Priest

The vow of the Nazarite

The creed of the Nazarite began with a vow taken by the individual, or by the parents before the birth of a child. Both Samson (Judg. 13:5) and Samuel (1 Sam. 1:27 ,28) and Yohn the Baptist (Luke 1:15 )were Nazarites . James, the brother of ,The Hebrew Messiah Yahshua , was a Nazarite .

Lamentations 4
Her NAZARITES (Strong's #5139 NAZIYR, meaning "CONSECRATED TO YAHWEH") were purer than snow (Spiritually), they were whiter than milk (Spiritually)Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: Their skin cleaves to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick (a living self-sacrifice

Nazarites, in the Old Testament, Hebrew Israelites who were especially dedicated to the service of Yahweh. The vow they took was pre-Mosaic in origin, but its stipulations are found in Numbers 6:1-21. The principal obligations were abstinence from intoxicants, from cutting of the hair or shaving.

Numbers 6:1-6 (The elements of the Nazarite vow)
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2 Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, When either man or woman shall make a special vow, the vow of a Nazarite, to separate himself (or herself) to Yahweh,
3 (The Main Element of the vow) he (or she) shall separate himself (or herself) from wine and strong drink; he (or she) shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any juice of grapes, nor eat fresh grapes or dried (all symbolic of the Spiritual fruit of the vine).
4 All the days of his (or her) separation shall he (or she) eat nothing that is made of the grape-vine, from the kernels even to the husk.
5 All the days of his (or her) vow of separation there shall no razor come on his (or her) head: until the days be fulfilled, in which he (or she) separates himself (or herself) to Yahweh, he (or she) shall be Holy; he (or she) shall let the locks of the hair of his (or her) head grow long.
6 All the days that he (or she) separates himself (or herself) to Yahweh he (or she) shall not come near to a dead body (while the Nazarite priest is living).

In the Torah ; The Anointed one is one but comes as two: Mashiach Ben Yoseph and Mashiach Ben Dawid. His first coming The Hebrew Messiah came Spiritual as Mashiach Ben Yoseph.
The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Yoseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was from his brethren. (KJV Genesis 49:26)
"The blessings of your father have excelled the blessings of my ancestors, up to the limit of the everlasting hills. They are on the head of Yoseph, and on the crown of the head of him who was separated(Naziyr)from his brothers. (ISR Bereshith 49:26)According to "The New Strong's Expanded Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible Red Letter Edition," Yoseph was a Nazarite! The Hebrew word that is translated into 'separated' in this passage is the Hebrew word 'Naziyr' which means Nazarite.

During the period of second temple Nazarites traditionally came to Bethsaida on the Sea of Galilee . The "City of Nazareth" appears from historical records to have gotten its name from the fact that many Nazarites priests resided in that area.

The definition of a priest is anyone who performs a service to and for Father Yahweh such as a (symbolic) Baptism, teaching the Gospel, healing the sick without surgery or medicine, casting out demons (unrighteous thoughts), perform (symbolic) sacraments and who have consecrated themselves to Father Yahweh .

Nowhere in the Biblical Scripture does it say The Hebrew Messiah Yahshua drank any wine.

KJV Mark 15:23
And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.

KJV Luke 22:17-18
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of Father Yahweh shall come.

The Hebrew Messiah Yahshua is a Nazarite Priest, "Set Apart," "pure," and "Holy" unto Yahweh ,because he most assuredly kept the rest of the Nazarite vow . He made this vow approximately 24 hours prior to his death on the cross (it would have been foolish to waste time getting a haircut), he never ate anything unclean, swallowed wine or vinegar, and since he died prior to the other two thieves next to him, he did not violate the being near any dead thing requirement.

The Hebrew Messiah was made a High Priest after "The Order of Melchizedek." Melchizedek is not so much a name, as it is a title "Designation of Honor". It is a position or office that has to be filled by a worthy candidate. The term is a transliteration of two Hebrew words, melek and tsedeq . The Hebrew melek means king and tsedeq means righteousness. Therefore, the term "melchizedek" means literally, he "King of Righteousness."

I agree that Messiah was making the Nazarite Vow in Luke 22. This was probably not the first time he made the vow. But what we see in Luke 7:33-34 makes me think he was not a Nazarite from birth. I also believe that Saul is seen taking the Vow in Acts 18 and 21.

Luke 7:33-34 33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil. 34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!

Do you think we can make the Nazarite Vow today without a Temple. If so under what circumstances can we end it.

Shalom,
Wayne
